Three men have been convicted of conspiracy to murder Paul Allen, a career criminal and former cagefighter who was heavily involved in the 2006 Securitas heist.

The trial at the Old Bailey, which ended yesterday (24 March), heard the trio - (pictured, left to right Stewart Ahearne, Daniel Kelly, and Louis Ahearne) - pulled off a museum heist in Switzerland a month before the shooting in which Chinese antiques, including a Ming vase worth £2 million, was stolen.

In today’s Substack I tell the full, amazing story and will reveal why there was no end of motives for trying to kill Allen, who had survived another murderous attack 10 months earlier which injured his daughter.
