Murderbook Volume IV: The Killing Season (2006-2012)
It’s time for the fourth volume of my Murderbook databases, which starts in January 2006 and ends in December 2012.
It includes the killing of Charlene Ellis and Letisha Shakespeare (pictured), innocent victims of a shoot-out between Birmingham’s two most notorious gangs - the Burger Bar Boys and the Johnson Crew - in 2006.
Two notorious cases featured - both in December 2010 - are the murder of Jo Yeates in Bristol in 2010, which several tabloids got into trouble for after they wrongly accused her landlord Christopher Jefferies, and the shooting of US Border Patrol agent Brian Terry by a Mexican drugs cartel.
